What is known about what happened the morning Enigma attacked the S.I.A.R. headquarters is shaky at best. There were no surviving eye-witnesses, so what is known comes from recovery teams that arrived on the scene later. The only recorded data of the destruction of S.I.A.R. headquarters comes from a scene recorded by a satellite. The events leading up to this scene are speculation based on what we now know of Enigma's capabilities. The following narration is this speculation as told by Dr. Reed, head of the investigation team that submitted the report of the events that went down in S.I.A.R. files as Project: E Weapons Test.
"Dr. Reed's Personal Log. I will be relating what we believe are the events that lead up to the destruction of S.I.A.R. HQ. Truly, Enigma is a weapon of untold destructive power, a very handy tool indeed.
Enigma approached the first of two S.I.A.R. outposts that he would encounter on his path towards S.I.A.R. HQ at approximately 1:15am. Twenty S.I.A.R. operatives were stationed at this small research outpost. As Enigma approached the gates, he would be confronted by the two outer guards. The moment they laid eyes upon Enigma, their minds would be assaulted. A sharp, high-pitched ringing tone would blare through their minds as a pressure would form around their brains. Within a matter of seconds, their minds were destroyed by this crushing attack. We have dubbed this attack Psionic Vice.
He then used a massive blast of telekinetic energy to blast the massive blast doors off their bulkheads. Given that the bulkheads were sheared so smoothly, this would suggest a sudden blast of unmeasurable telekinetic force rather than an oppressive push that would result in more signs of wear on the metal. Every S.I.A.R. soldier posted at this outpost was killed in the same way as the first two guards, some were even still sleeping in their beds. Not a single shot was fired as Enigma literally walked right through the place, using his telekinesis to blow through fortified walls and reinforced doors as though the weren't even there. The structure itself was left in tact, save for a series of large holes that run directly through the ground floor of the building that marked Enigma's path as he walked through the outpost.
By this time, the auto-distress signal had already gone off at S.I.A.R. headquarters. This gave them ample warning, and they reinforced the second outpost that would undoubtedly be Enigma's next destination. Orders were given to shoot anything approaching the outpost on sight and without question. Yet the only ammunition that was used came from the defensive outpost's auto-defense weaponry.
Due to Enigma's immunity to all forms of sensors, we are unsure exactly how far away from the outpost he was or exactly what the time was when he demonstrated another of his abilities. All we know is that visual contact had not been made when his wraith was set loose. He broadcast his will upon signals that hacked into the mainframe of the complex in an instant. Immediately all the auto-defense weapons activated and began firing upon all S.I.A.R. personnel in the facility. When the remaining S.I.A.R. personnel had hid themselves from their own weapons, the three power generators in the basement went critical and exploded simultaneously. This explosion completely leveled the outpost, killing all inside who weren't already dead. The time when the facility was brought down was 2:27am.

The following is the only remaining piece of first-hand evidence of Enigma's attack on the S.I.A.R. HQ. By this time, all essential S.I.A.R. personnel had discretely vacated the premise, traveling to a secondary HQ who's location is thoroughly classified. The satellite that recorded the following was an S.I.A.R. spy satellite that had been positioned to watch the destruction their newest weapon would cause. The scene is narrated by Dr. Reed.
"At 3:20am, our satellite spots Enigma as he approaches the former S.I.A.R. HQ. He continues his steady, walking pace towards the facility as he comes within range of the defensive cannons. A volley of rockets, missiles, and cannon fire was unleashed upon him. For the guided weapons fired at him, he reprogrammed their targeting and sent them right back at the batteries that fired them. As for the cannon fire, he used his telekinesis to likewise send the explosive shells directly back to their origin. With the first and only volley of defensive fire effectively reflected back upon the defenses, the outer wall was destroyed, leaving the mile long courtyard filled with infantry, tanks, and other ground forces as the next wave of opposition to Enigma. Yet this impressive line of defense was never engaged.
As Enigma approached the pill of rubble that was the outer wall, he activated his cloaking field. It is impossible to say exactly what method of entry Enigma used to sneak into the facility. The security system did not show any breach in the doors, vents, pipes, or any other part of the structure. Yet approximately 15 minutes after Enigma activated his cloaking device, a large hole was blown in the roof. As the satellite imagery shows, the bent metal is pushed upwards, implying that Enigma was already inside the facility and was using his telekinesis to make his exit. It is clear what Enigma's target was: the late Dr. Teron. This is evident by the series of holes that lead directly down to his quarters from the hole in the roof.
What flies out of the hole in the roof doesn't appear to be Enigma. But keep in mind that he can assume any form he pleases. The form we see here is what we have dubbed Eagle Alpha (See Appendix A for image file). The moment he emerged from the hole in the roof he cloaked. Freezing the image we can see he appears to be carrying something, it's safe to assume that this is Dr. Teron.
Again, all contact is lost with Enigma as his cloaking field even covers Dr. Teron. Nothing more is seen by the satellite, only the effects of what would seem to be Enigma's most destructive attack, one we have called Hell Grinder.
This next set of footage comes from records taken from Dr. Teron's ocular implants once his remains were found. We see that Enigma, in the form of Eagle Alpha, has taken Dr. Teron to the cliffs overlooking the S.I.A.R. HQ..."
Enigma, his eyes blazing crimson as he glared down at Dr. Teron. A wicked grin would cross his beak as he stomped down on the Dr.'s legs, crushing them instantly, ensuring that Dr. Teron could go nowhere. Enigma then looked over his shoulder, down to the S.I.A.R. headquarters at the base of the cliff he stood on. All sorts of helicopters and gets swarming around it as massive search lights scanned the sky and ground alike. He turned to face the scene, his color changed from black and red to that of a burning gold (this form is known as Phoenix Eagle, see Appendix A for image file). He raised his Storm Buster, pointing it towards the sky above the base and firing a single, silent bullet into the sky. The chaos this single shot unleashed was unprecedented.
The moment the shot disappeared into the clouds, there was a bright flash and an explosion of thunder. Many dark clouds began to form, filling the sky with darkness as thunder continued to roar. Without warning, a massive tornado descended with frightening speed. So huge was this tornado that it had three smaller tornadoes orbiting around it. The oscillating mass of destructive force ripped it's way towards S.I.A.R. headquarters. Upon reaching the already decimated outer wall, massive bolts of lightning struck both the large, main tornado as well as the three smaller ones. The moment this happened all the tornadoes were set ablaze. These fiery storms of Enigma's fury pulverized the headquarters, engulfing everything as it spun its way across the land. What wasn't destroyed by the devastating 300 mph winds was set ablaze and burned to ashes in the inferno.
With S.I.A.R. headquarters destroyed, Enigma had but one final task to complete in order to rightfully gain his freedom. He reverted to his "true" form as he turned back to Dr. Teron who was already writhing in pain and terror. It is unsure exactly how Enigma ensured that the Dr. remained both alive and fully conscious through the painful manner in which he executed, but memory files taken from cerebrum implants clearly show that the Dr. felt every agonizing moment up until Enigma finally released him to death.
Enigma would stomp down hard on Dr. Terons chest. Slowly reaching down to take hold of one of the Dr.'s already crushed legs. With an agonizing slowness, Enigma would literally rip the Dr.'s leg from his body. The Dr. screamed in agony, begging for Enigma to stop, but Enigma continued on with a merciless silence. He tossed the first leg aside before reaching down to rip off the Dr.'s other leg. More screams and incoherent babbles expel from the Dr., and still Enigma continued his dissection. Keeping his foot on the Dr.'s chest the whole time to keep him pinned down, he then reached for the Dr.'s right arm, slowly breaking it at the wrist, the forearm, and the elbow before finally with a slow tug he would rip it off. He'd then move on to do the same to the Dr.'s left arm. He would slap the Dr. in the face with his own severed left arm before Enigma's face would morph into that of Dr. Raith's as one final recording played forth. "How do you like your weapon, Dr. Teron? A marvelous creation, I must say. Perhaps he truly is destined to be nothing but an uncontrollable wave of destruction, perhaps it was best if we had never found his plans in the first place. I have paid for my sins, it is time for you to pay for yours." With that, Enigma's face would morph back into his own as he stepped down, crushing Dr. Teron's chest before reaching down to slowly rip his head off. Only then does Enigma allow Dr. Teron's injuries to take their tole and he dies immediately.
Upon the death of Dr. Teron, Dr. Raith's final initiative was launched. Along with installing the chip that would give Enigma his ultimate power, Dr. Raith also installed a chip that would immediately cause Enigma to power down and self destruct. Dr. Raith knew that such a weapon could never exist peacefully and should never have existed in the first place. And so, Enigma would self destruct. Given that he was powered down when he did so, he would be unable to regenerate.
Six hours later when the site was deemed secure, S.I.A.R. immediately sent in a recovery and research team to search the wreckage. Upon a search of the cliffs, Dr. Teron's mangled body was found. The only piece of Enigma that remained was a single chunk of armor which was immediately recovered and sent to a top secret laboratory controlled by S.I.A.R.
The official declaration made by S.I.A.R. about what happened that morning was that the facility's reactor had gone critical due to negligence on the maintenance staff's behalf.
